Educational Workshop

If you study Social Sciences and Humanities, either at a conventional or open University and you feel the need for someone to explain to you responsibly, not only theoretically, but in practice, with examples and activities, the way that the writing of the scientific research is done, while following the specifications of an academic text, then sign up to this Workshop.

Specifically, through your particiapation in this workshop you will be able to:

  • Distinguish the characteristics of the academic writing,

  • Practice in the process of writing cohesive paragraphs in an academic way,

  • Design methodologically the structure of a research assignment,

  • Implement critical thinking strategies, text analysis and note-taking,

  • Provide evidence to support your arguments,

  • Successfully follow the specifications of reference systems (e.g. APA, Harvard),

  • Discover strategies for managing time and academic stress.

The Workshop will be conducted at the hotel Wyndham Grand Athens, which is located in the center of Athens, next to metro station “Metaxourgio” (Megalou Alexandrou 2), in the meeting room “Athens”. (

Coffee breaks and light lunch will be offered.

Certificate of Attendance will be provided to participants at the end of the Workshop.


The cost of the participation will be 80€ which can be paid in two ways:

The downpayment or the whole amount cannot be returned in case of cancelation by you.
